Back Home from Holy Land

Oct 19 '07. Come back from Holy Land. It was a blessing trip... Knowing & seing places of my Lord's journey, just as writen in Bible. I also renew my babtism in Jordan River.
Rina picked me up from the airport, what a friend ah, thanks sis. After unpack my stuff & take a rest a little while, we went to my mom's place to meet Ivan, then we drove to the airport again, to pick up my mom, bro & kids from Hong Kong. The flight delay till 1.30 am.
We hide, pretended we did pick them up, Telis was suprised.... & my mom too. At my mom's place, we stayed so late till early morning (subuh). We shared our stories during the trip while unpack the stuff & receiving... souvenirs too. Welcome Back Home....

Exciting...

Done with the parcel for Idul Fitri.... Now preparing for my trip to the place where Jesus born. Exciting.... and I'll be visiting Egypt too... I've been dreaming about this since long time ago.

When I was in University, I met a friend for Egypt, a very nice person; and 1 day I saw my cousin pictures when she visited Egypt, since then.... I've been dreaming that someday I will go there too.... and now... my dream will come true....

Beside that, I also happy coz... I'll have a change to visit historic places of Bible. I'm glad this opportunity comes when my relationship with Him are better & closer; otherwise, I might refuse it coz I'm not ready yet. He knows this oppotunity will come to me, so He reached me :) and now... I'm READY, TQ

Training & Development

Joint 2 days Corporate Human Resources - Training & Development (Sept 3 & 4 '07) about: Basic Psychology & People Development.
Knowing this basic will help me be a better person, well... I meant be 'a better boss' :P

I think all top management should take this training, this will help them to understand their employee better, to avoid miscommunication among them and harmonize the work environment too.

Most of our time are spent in the working place and its our (all of us) job to make the environment harmonizes and comfortable; and as top management we have a duty & power to make things happen.

Bandung

We went to Bandung for the long weekend. Friday, my mom & kids left early in the morning while me & my friends left after 12 o'clock. Traffic was ok, not really full, we got there after 2hrs drives. We went to Rumah Stoberi & The Valley (eat...eat...& eat... no Rina around...), and of course... factory outlets. Saturday nite, we met Rina, her friend & her cousin; then we went to ??? (forget the name). The place so fulled & crowded, I think half of young Bandungest went there ha...ha...ha.. There... we met Rina friend's friends.... the more the merrier... we stay there till almost midnight.

Back to Jakarta on Sunday before lunch time.... we got home around 1.30. Rina informed me that she got stuck on traffic, she left Bandung in the afternoon.
It was... fun... spending time with my kids & family...

My 2nd Son's Birthday

Last wednesday was my 2nd son's birthday and we celebrated after office hour at TGIF, as he requested. My premature baby is 10 year old already... wow... And he grown up just fine.

He asked me "I'm not gonna blow the cake, right mommy?" I didn't know why he asked that and I just said "Hmm..." Then he continued enjoy the moment. Around 9, suddenly he heard the birthday song & the waiters came toward him with the cake. I still remembered his face... he's so suprised... After a while his brother said... "Teng... how come you believed that mommy wont buy you a cake?!" :) a birthday wont be complate without cake. Happy Birthday my Son, mommy love you so... much!!

It's also a fareware dinner for my cousin (my 1st daughter), she has to go back to State, the next day.

Need to sleep now... long drive tomorrow!

Bowling

Today, we went bowling at Gelanggang, Kuningan: me, Dimi (my son, actually he the one who've been asking for), my brother, my best friend (Rina) and my Ivan (opps :D). We should do it more often guys, it was fun, wasn't it? Tired but fun!!

Hmm... I remembered the good old days, when I was in collage (USA), we bowled almost everyday, even when it's final. I used to just sat down and watch my boyfriend and friends played; until one day I get bored and decided to try... since then I became a bowling lover too. The bowling ball & shoes stayed in the trunk (car), so we can play anytime we wanted. I even got trophies for Individual and woman league :) Sometime we played till early morning, then before went home, we stopped by at Dennis (open 24 hours) to have breakfast. The good old days.....

If I'll continue play bowling again now, for sure, I'll get my own ball & shoes again :D

Hello ... my bowling friends... how are you doing?? Missed you guys!!

I really am sorry

I don't regret what happen in my life coz... those has make me who I am now and everyday I'm trying to be a better person, but I'm still a human being... and sometimes it just slipped.

Few days ago I was hospitalized and I felt so bad... not for my sickness but for my loneliness, I pity myselve and those feeling made me so down. I was angry & dissapointed; so I decided to give up one thing that I've been trying to holding on; and... it turned out worst... Because of what I did, I've been asked if I really close with Jesus or Satan. I felt so quilty coz I knew I dissapointed my God.

Fortunately, my cousin asked for gathering in Him after office hour, and that what I needed... When we're worshiping I felt peace... and I heard words saying: "No... you're not as bad as you think you are or someone else thinks... I'm the one who really know you!" :)

I feel better now.... and my spirits goes up again.... I know.... I'm not alone... HE's with me, always.

Holiday.... Trip to Bali & Honoris

We went to Bali for 4 day... Me, my kids, brother, cousins, friends. It was fun... we spent di Hotel Studio, small hotel but very nice. I updated my tattoo so... Anes won't say it's "tompel" anymore hehehehe.



Unfortunatly... I got sick there.... but didn't reduce the fun for the rest of us. Friday afternoon, July 20, we flied back home to Jakarta. Next morning, Ella & Seung went back to State, while me... still cuddle with my blanket, hope evertything would be fine & can go to work on monday. But... when I went to see a doctor on Tuesday night, she asked me to check in to the hospital :D well.... I still need another holiday I quess... so...... Honoris.... here I came!!!!

My trombosil was so low, only 24, the next day even worst only 11. But after that day... everthing much-much better, went up to 73 and today 153, that's why I can be realiased from hospitas, today. Thanks GOD

Semarang City

Sabtu pagi jam 10.50 aku dan rombongan terbang ke Semarang untuk menghadiri acara "Malam Dedikasi Holy Stadium" - Peresmian gereja yang di gembalai oleh Pdt. Petrus A. Purnomo, terletak di Jl. Arteri Utara Komples Grand Marina, Semarang.

Setiba di Semarang, kita langsung menuju restoran untuk makan siang. Acara diadakan pada pukul 5, so kita ke hotel dulu untuk check in & istirahat.

Pukul 4 kita berangkat menuju ke Holy Stadium. Acara dimulai pukul 5. He's the King of Majesty, Halleluyah!! Holy Stadium adalah gereja yang dibangun dengan kuasa-NYA, dari pembelian tanah, perizinannya & pembangunannya. Berkapasitas 30.000 orang, luar biasa....

Kita menginap di Semarang untuk 1 malam & kembali ke Jakarta hari minggu sore. Sebelum ke airport, kita mengunjungi Pdt. Yusak untuk berbincang2.

Spent time with my boys, swimming at Puri with my brother & Ivan, then we went to Arang 22, Korean Restaurant, for lunch, yummy.....!! (Rina... tenggorokan-nya bengkok hehehe) After lunch we stop by at Electronic City, I bought some movie, light one... that won't cause me stress :)

Poor... Ivan, duty called & he needed to be in the office, so... we spent the rest of the day without him. While I was updating my website, Dimi played his games & Telis cuddled himself in sofa. After that we decided to watch some movie.

We watched "the wedding date," it's a good movie, light & entertaining. The guy's last sentence was so.... touching... "...I rather fight with you than making love with someone else..." oh.... I wish someone could say that to me... with prove & action of course :)

At past 10 pm, I decided to go back home... almost had an accident, cars infront of me stop suddenly & the traffic in highway to my place so bad. So I decided to take the Airport Highway, it's my first time... fortunately I made it. There's always the first time for everything, right!

Past is the past

Terlalu banyak luka yang harus disembuhkan dan diperlukan banyak tenaga untuk bisa berdiri dan menatap kedepan. Masa-lalu adalah sejarah kehidupan dan hidup adalah untuk masa depan. Ada banyak mimpi yang ingin aku raih dan aku tak ingin terbebani oleh masa-laluku lagi, masa-lalu adalah pelajaran untuk langkah2ku ke depan.

Aku memaafkan diriku untuk semua kesalahan dan kegagalan dalam hidup aku. Jika aku bisa memaafkan orang lain, kenapa aku tidak bisa memaafkan diri-ku sendiri?

Kebahagiaan adalah suatu pilihan dan aku tidak bisa memaksakan orang lain untuk membuatku bahagia. Kebahagiaan aku ada ditanganku dan aku memilih untuk bahagian.

Segala hal yang pernah terjadi atau aku alami, telah membawa aku ke titik kehidupanku saat ini, tidak ada yang aku sesali; karna aku tau aku yang sekarang jauh lebih baik dari aku yang dahulu.

Called From Greece

Just finished talking with my kids' daddy (John).
I checked my other mobile & noticed there were couple missed call & a message, it was John. He called in the afternoon & I just found out 12 hours later :) Sorry John!
Yesterday when I was talking on the phone, my friend asked me, how's John doing now, well I couldn't tell him more coz I really didn't know, and today... He called hhmm.....
I promised to call him back tomorrow with the kids, he missed them. Glad to hear from you, John & good luck for what you are doing. GBU

It's My Birthday

Today is my Birthday.... Jumat malam ada persekutuan/sharing di tempat tante-ku. Mereka tunggu sampe jam 12, tiba2 Ika bawa kue & lilin yg menyalah... surprise juga sih.... & seneng juga. Ternyata Ika, Dimi & Telis udah planning dari siang tadi heheheheh seneng-nyaaaaaa TQ sayangku. Pak Dra, TQ kadonya. TQ buat SMS2nya, Jose, at 00:00:50, you're still the first one ;) Lissje & Rina juga.
Evy, Ella-Seung, Ika, thanks for the Kodak. "Hot Red" Cool... like it!!!! Mom... thanks for the Ring "Beutiful." Dimi-Telis thanks for the kissess.... & being owesome kids. Ko Wewe thanks for the flowers. Mba If... thanks for the cake. Ko2ku... thanks for the thought, he's out of city, I might got something, after he come back ha...ha...ha... And also to all of you who called & sms me, TQ so much for remembering my birthday, meant so much to me.

Me & Kids went to Kino Taki Restaurant, as Telis's reguested, for small celebration & gathered at my mom's place after that.

Kewarganegaraan

Akhirnya... penantian itu datang juga & kekewatiranpun itu berlalu. Dengan di syah-kannya UU No. 12 Thn 2006 ttg Kewarganegaraan RI yg salah satunya membahas mengenai Dual Nationality untuk anak2 dari perkawinan wanita Indonesia dgn pria asing, anak2-ku memiliki hak untuk pendapatkan itu. Surat Keputusan itu sudah dikeluarkan, tertanggal 20 April 2007 anak2ku sudah menjadi Warga Negara Indonesia & Greek (of course). Happy.... The Best Birthday Present

Need 2 people to Tango

Perceraian memang hal yang menyakitkan & hal yang tidak disukai oleh Allah; tp apakah Allah menginginkan kita untuk tetap berada ditempat dimana kita tidak lagi merasa ada kedamaian & kebahagian? Apakah perkawinan itu harus dipertahankan hanya karna status, demi anak2 atau menjaga nama baik keluarga? Apa artinya suatu keindahan yg diliat dari luar tp penyiksaan & kesedihan didalamnya? Apakah Allah menginginkan itu? Apakah baik bagi anak2 jika mereka mengtahui bahwa keberadaan orang-tuanya hanya berupa sandiwara & keterpaksaan?

Ada pepatah "Need 2 people to Tango" tarian itu akan indah jika pasangin itu bergerak seirama dengan melodinya atau setidaknya mencoba untuk mengikuti gerakan pasangannya; tp jika 1 dari mereka tidak ingin menarikannya.... Apa arti tarian itu? Apa indahnya?

Perceraian memang tidak di sukai Allah, tp bukan berarti Allah tidak akan membuka jalan untuk kita menjadi orang yg lebih baik. Kadang semua itu diizinkanNya karna ada tujuan lain dalam hidup kita. Kegagalan adalah cara Tuhan memberitahukan kita: saatnya untuk berganti arah. Tidak apa2 mengalami kegagalan dalam hidup, tapi jangan berkelamaan meratapi kegagalan itu.

Lalu bagaimana dengan anak2?? Sudah pasti kehidupan mereka akan berubah, tp sebagai orang tua, kita harus bisa mengalah & berkorban untuk memperkecil perubahan itu. Sisihkan ego, sakit hati, marah, benci dan ketakutan kita; jangan ceraikan mereka dari mama/papa-nya. Walau di tempat yg berbeda tp mereka masih bisa memiliki kedua orang-tuanya; jangan bebankan mereka dengan permasalahan kita.

Akar pahit pada umumnya bermula dari keluarga.

Friends

Since I was young I have principle "finding a friend is not as easy as finding an enemy" therefore I really appreciate the word "friendship." For me Friends are forever & It doesn't limited by gender, race, religion or nationality. There are many level & type of friends but the key word is still "friend." I have many friends & they are all different, each one of them is unique & special for me... and for my appreciation I make A Page For Friends... TQ all for being my friends.

Sejak dulu aku punya prinsip "mencari teman, tidak semudah mencari musuh", karna itu aku menghargai skali yg namanya "friendship." Buat aku Friends are forever dan tidak dibatasi oleh jenis kelamin, suku, agama & kebangsaan. Ada berapa macam tingkatan & jenis teman, tp kata kuncinya tetap "teman." Internet Goldmines

Internet makes our life a whole lot easier nowadays, seems like there is no limit to how much information we can access daily. With the help of Internet, information is made available easily and fast. True, there are still some who use the Internet simply to send emails, browse the Internet, chatting, or playing games. That was me, but I have now discovered a whole new face of the Internet World.

I joined the two days workshop of Internet Income by Ewen Chia, and it opened my eyes. The workshop made me realize the endless possibilities of how I can better use the Internet, It gave me many new ideas, and I am soon inspired to want to be like one of those who are successful in Internet Marketing business.

If you enjoy to be in front of a computer a lot (like how I am), why can’t we make a better use of it? We can certainly do something more valuable by allowing it to generate income for us as well. Let me put it this way, hidden inside this Internet world, there are plenty of goldmines awaiting for the right miners to dig for gold. The questions is, do we want to be that gold miners? 28/04/07 ~ Woke up early & went to my kids' school bazaar, Telis as a cashier in Ice Cream Kedai & Dimi's duty in Game Zone.

Today I met my high school friends, Liza & Lissje, for dinner & coffee. Unfortunately, Lissje's hubby picked her up, so she had to go early; but me & Liza stay longer till after 12. Lis... I'm glad I had chanced to hear your story, don't worry we can always be friends forever :)

Happy 12th Birthday Son

14 April 07 ~ Sbelum subuh pertanyaan yang slama ini bersarang di pikiranku terjawab. Tidak terlalu mengejutkan & sperti yang sudah aku duga, terjawablah mimpi2ku. Brapa saat kemudian fajar menyingsing, sinar matahari pagi menyirami bumi.

Hari ini adalah hari yang indah, anakku yang pertama, Dimi, berulang tahun ke 12. Waktu berlalu begitu cepat, aku masih ingat hari itu, pagi-pagi buta, daddy-nya membawa aku ke rumah sakit. Sambil menunggu dokter aku menangis & menahan rasa sakit yang luar biasa, aku merengek minta di operasi, waktu terasa begitu lama. Saat tiba untuk melahirkan, dokter telah siap & para suster membantu mendorong perut aku, tp suara tangis bayi tidak terdengar. Tiba-tiba mereka berhenti melakukan pertolongan, aku tidak mengerti kenapa, lalu dokter keluar memanggil daddy-nya, operasi harus dilakukan.

Hhmm… aku ingat, brapa kali dokter pernah bilang “Bu… anaknya kebesaran!” tp seperti layaknya ibu-ibu yang lain, aku juga ingin merasakan bagaimana melahirkan secara normal. Walau akhirnya harus dioperasi & merasakan sakit 2 kali :) tapi cukup menyenangkan karena aku diberi kesempatan untuk merasakan apa yang mamaku pernah rasakan.

Bayi pertamaku lahir dengan selamat, walau dengan sedikit tanda2 biru diwajahnya, akibat terkena alat penolong saat proses normal; bukan cuma sehat tetapi bayi-ku memang seperti yang dokter bilang besar... : berat 4,1 kg & panjang 5,3. Kami beri nama: Demetrios Joshua Balaskas. Saat lahir daddy-nya bilang “Itu fotokopi kamu banget!” tetapi semakin besar dia semakin sperti daddy-nya, tidak hanya wajahnya tapi sifat, sikap & kelakuannya; sometimes annoying, but so adorable.

Awalnya kita mau kumpul2 di tempat oma-nya, tp akhirnya kita makan malam bersama di Pizza Marzano. It was fun, Dimi took lots of pictures, using papi Anes’ camera.

Internet Marketing

Tgl 24 & 25 Maret lalu, aku ikut workshop Ewen Chia's Autopilot Internet Income yang diadakan di hotel Ciputra. Banyak hal yang aku dapat dari 2 hari workshop itu & beberapa ide keluar dari pikiran aku.

Kalo kita yang suka duduk di depan PC or main internet berjam2… ada banyak hal lain yg bisa kita kejain or dapat selain chatting & browsing :) ternyata… di balik layar monitor yg tipis or kembung itu, ada banyak sekali tambang emas-nya.

Kebetulan temen aku, Herman, juga lagi tertarik tentang hal ini, jadi… kita bisa tukar pikiran. Well… bukan tukar pikiran jg sih, aku yg banyak nanya hahaha, maklumlah dia lebih muda, jadi masih lebih fresh otaknya. TQ Man & thank you juga untuk The Jubilee Network yg ngadain workshop Ewen Chia itu.

Ps: Herman itu orang yg suka belajar, dalam segala hal, bikin dia lebih dari orang2 seumurnya. Banyak hal yg aku dapat selama kita berteman
